totally ridiculous...

What do you think about this news story told here on this blog ? The comments are an interesting read as well. Of course I couldn't resist and had to contribute my $0.02! As Christians, we have more critical issues to be worrying about than this pettiness. Has the Christian community digressed back to the stone age?

I think too often those who lead in religion have a stranglehold on control issues. It's a fine fine line. I am not religious although I identify with my Judaism and I know others see me as a Jew. And it does define me in some ways. I am spiritual and that is very different. Not sure I answered your question but I hope I did. to heck with what others think, let these women preach as long as they aren't preaching hate or intolerance and eventually it will become a non-issue.

Blows my mind! It is unbelievable that this is EVEN up for discussion. I can't stand that type of pinheaded thinking. No wonder this world is in such a mess! Give it to the women for God's sake and let us fix it!

ps. thank you for the comments on my post on sexuality. I really appreciate it. I replied there too. :)

i have also tried to leave comments over the past couple of days but blogger has been acting up.....or maybe my computer. I don't know. I just want to wish you a happy belated birthday. Virgo's are like fine wine.....they age with grace and refinement. :)
